PRA Accelerates Its Shift Toward Full Digitalization
LAHORE: The Punjab Revenue Authority (PRA) is advancing its digital transformation agenda as part of the provincial government’s broader push toward modern, technology-driven governance.
During a meeting with Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) Chairman Faisal Yousaf, PRA Chairman Moazzam Iqbal Sipra reviewed the progress of ongoing digital initiatives. Sipra noted that an integrated and modernised database would streamline procedures for registered businesses and contribute to more efficient revenue collection.
He further highlighted that PRA’s sector-wise data would be digitised in phases to address current gaps. According to Sipra, the new electronic database will simplify the framing, implementation, and quick retrieval of PRA laws, ultimately enabling more informed decision-making and improved governance.
